For this project I was Art Lead in charge of three artists creating assets for this simulation. We had an embedded team from Australia during this which we trained to create their own Mixed Reality Experience using this proof of concept to make that happen.
This project was used to test inspecting the aircraft for damage from lightning strikes. This process usually takes days and in some cases can cause the aircraft to be offline for 30 days or more. By using the aircraft CAD and other data the goal was to create an XRAY ability to allow the user to see what is behind the skin of the aircraft. This would speed up the determination if the damage would require the aircraft to be pulled fromr service for an extended time.
